The Wine Fair

Discover Spanish wines and tapas in a charming place

This Wine Bar is a lovely old building dating 1839, known in the village as “The house of light” as the first transformers for the supply of electricity in the town were here, and it is situated in one of the most photographed streets of Spain. Fully restored in 2004, the result is a typical andalusian house of more than 300sqm with a brick facade where all the Málaga wines are available, as well as wines from other regions of Spain.

We propose a nice and complete package for groups : our Wine Fair that consists in a wine tasting session guided by 3 to 4 professional sommeliers, including the corresponding tapas.

We will set-up 3 to 4 stands in the Patio (depending on the group size) :

  • One with white wines, Finos and Cavas
  • One with red wines
  • One with sweat wines (Moscatel and Pedro Ximenez)

During the tasting sessions, we will serve 25 different tapas to the group !

The Wine Fair perfectly represents a professional wine fair, while helping the group interact. It takes place on three or four large-format stands which represent the four wines to be enjoyed (Sherry, White, Red & Sweet).

These wine stands are located in the most characteristic areas of the Wine Bar (Patio Andaluz, Tower, The Hall of Labels and the National Wines Room). At each stand a sommelier will explain you all the different aromas and flavors, while serving assorted snacks/tapas that are recommendedfor the type of wine being tasted.

These "tapas" are served to be consumed conveniently and easily, and are presented in large spoons, toasts, skewers and other original forms.

Who's it for?

This wine and tapas discovery night is a perfect corporate incentive for anyone interested in spanish culture and gastronomy.

Also available : Spanish ham cutting workshop for events
